“The Interview”, on Netflix: funny in a gross kinda way

January 30, 2015
By

Only a month ago “The Interview” was pulled from its pre-Christmas movie theater release because of a cyber attack on SONY and an alleged threat of 9/11 style attacks. Now I find it on Nextflix, for free. The times we live in! Normally, I would probably not even bother writing a review about this...

The Descendants – good, but not Oscar good.

April 1, 2012
By

The Descendants is one of the better George Clooney movies, where the story is interesting enough and Clooney doesn’t take off his shirt. It is sad in general, but does touch up on real human issues people and families have to deal with in life. All actors played very believable characters. Even Clooney. Although...

By

The other day I had a heated discussion with my friend Wayne, a business owner and the guy who doesn't vote, about 911. I told him that I was at first rejecting any conspiracy theories besides the official version given to the media about Bin Laden, a man in the cave, threatening to...

SICKO made me sick. I've been waiting for this movie to come out on DVD, and once I saw it on the shelf of my local video store, it was a definite choice for me.

Eastern Promises – quite a movie

October 21, 2007
By

If you thought 300 was brutal, this movie definitely beats it for graphic scenes, nudity, disturbing scenes and all the rated R movie has to offer. However, this is by far not a fantasy movie. You get to see the nature and style of Russian and Ukrainian mafia.
