On the night from May 2nd to May 3rd 2009 cops blocked off nearly all the exits from the freeways leading to downtown San Jose. There was no way to get to down town San Jose!!! Dozens of police cars parked in the middle of intersections, gas stations, traffic lights, with their sirens on, diverting cars away. I have never seen anything like this before....There were more cops than people...
"How could they just block off the entire down town???" was the question asked by everyone in the car. [There were 5 of us].
After circling around the blocked off down town San Jose for 30+ minutes, I finally pulled out my camera and said "that's it, I'm recording this". In the second video one police officer explains that this is done in the honor of the Cinco De Mayo celebration.
