My short, but intense relationship with Facebook might be coming to an end. I'm thinking about breaking up, already! It has only been a few months… but..
I've been mildly annoyed with your applications and the fact that it is mostly filled with junk noise like ads, fans, groups, games and email notifications about everyone who did anything in your virtual friend circle. But an occasional funny note from someone I actually know and cool links somebody posted make up for it, I guess.
I have probably spent as much time as anybody else who updates their facebook profile glued to my computer screen for countless hours scrolling through the endless bulletin of everybody's status updates. oh my gosh, some of them you just can't resist posting comments to. For whatever reason. Hey, I get it, I love it too.
But why do you have to treat me like that? Openly admit at the marketing conference in Paris last week that you've been spying on me and collecting data?
And now you claim you own our faces? What is that all about?
I'm starting to really feel like you've been taking me for granted. Worse, taking advantage of me! Facebook, I thought we were friends!
I hate to break it to you like that, Facebook, but I might actually leave you. You know, instead of fighting for my rights, which I feel like I should already have, I might decide to …ahhh.. go to another network? Imagine that.
What if I start my own? The one who doesn't sell my user tracking information to third parties. Oh I know that would be too.. revolutionary.. because this practice has been going on for years supported by whoever would be willing to do it.
But Facebook, I thought you were different! I thought you were better than that.
I thought… wrong?

4.6 You will not share your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account.
4.7 You will not transfer your account to anyone without first getting our written permission.”
By the way, in case you are wondering what countries are excluded, it's a pretty big list:
What does Facebook have to do with US State Department?
Anyway, I thought it was interesting to mention…
You should use http://www.fanbullet.com to buy Facebook fans as well as twitter fans. We purchased some Facebook fans and we are quite satisfied with the results. It is completely legal because the fans are real and they don't join your page until they check it and find it interesting.
