So what is French Tuesdays and why people come?

Every other Tuesday in San Francisco people get together at night, drink cocktails, socialize and, otherwise, have a good time at this exclusive members only party in San Francisco, and, from what I hear, other US cities.
I had many questions about French Tuesdays and what it is about because the first time I came to one of their parties, I couldn't get in. The bouncer picked me out of the crowd and said I could not go in like that. I was wearing my Baby Phat jeans in more of the California casual style, which was not the dress code. I also had to be on the list or else, I couldn't get in. The promoters were nice enough to come out outside and inform me of all that. My friend Lili actually put me on the list, but at the time I had no clue about that or that there was a list.
So when Lili and I were invited to their event this Tuesday, we decided to find out some answers.
We must have talked to at least a dozen people, ranging from first-times to old-timers, web-members and full-members, and got an interesting mixture of responses and comments.

First of all, there is the list. You have to be one of the members and also register for a specific event. Otherwise, they won’t let you in. “They make it really hard to get in,” said one of the regulars.
So what is French Tuesdays about?

- networking
- marketing
- hang out place for those who are busy on weekends
- exclusive club
- feeling special
- meeting girls
- older crowd
- yuppies
- fashion statements
- upscale
- European music
- international crowd
- successful individuals
- going out on Tuesdays

But whatever they say about French Tuesdays, they must be doing something right. This Tuesday they had their event split between two venues and both were completely full by 11pm. People generally leave shortly after midnight and by 1am the party is over since most every one has to go to work in the morning.
So why people come?
Most people said that they come because they love the music, the crowd and because they always have a good time. Some said people come to network, but almost nobody carries around business cards. Most people wear suits and dresses. Even the DJ wore a suit. I don't think I've ever seen the DJ wear a suit…
According to their website, French Tuesdays has more than 15,000 members worldwide with home bases in Miami, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. I just joined.

Parades about chase routes through flush or midtown areas of New Orleans they cannot yield abode in the French Quarter because of that section's attenuated streets and aerial structures. pass4sure 642-504 Parades with music, floats and masks (typically fabricated with chaplet and accoutrement in colors of green, gold and purple) are organized by Carnival humans who ride on the floats, pass4sure 642-661 casting “throws” to the crowds such as artificial beads, cups, pass4sure 640-721 board or aluminum doubloons (coins) and baby toys.

Well . . . if even the DJ wears a suit, that says it ALL. I mean, it's fine to hang out at the sports bar or the pool (don't forget your pool supplies!). But it's FINER to dress up, go out, make the scene, and BE seen. Flashing business cards at networking venues is passe you know. Now you can just “bump” i-Phones and exchange basic data.
P.S. You ladies are tres haut.
