Laser tag in south bay

The other day my friend Alan
wrote a blog at the end which he posed a question “where do nerds hang
out?”  People posted their answers, but I
think I’ve got a good one – they play laser tag!!! That’s right. This is
exactly what we did Saturday night and it was so much fun!!!

Gathering everyone together was
a pain in the ass since everyone is so busy living their nerdy lives, but once
we got to Mountain View, it was laser quest until death do us part.

Death it
was, virtual of course, from all those second graders, who viscously attacked
us by cornering and following their pray in groups. It was a solo mission,
meaning you shoot everyone. But they wouldn’t shoot each other, violating
almost every rule in the book.

I was too busy running away from
little kids and hiding in the maze trying to shoot them. I think I shot Alan
once and my friend Richard. I was an easy target since my shirt was white and
glowing in the dark like a full moon.

Although, the first grader (I
swear he was like 7 years old) scored the first place, meaning he shot the most
people, Paul from our group was second and that something we all felt proud of.
Represent!!!

After this 25-minute exhausting
cardio workout, we headed to down town Mountain View to eat some Thai food.
More people joined us, the slackers who didn’t make it to the game… let’s not
mention their names here…

Over our dinner conversations we
casually came up with a solution to the real estate crisis. I think it started
with Paul pointing at the wooden house serving as decoration at the King of
Thai place. Then Alan said he’d have to shrink to live in it. Then we all
thought it was a great idea, since that seems to be the only way to afford a
house we each would like. We would have to also shrink other things so they are
on an even scale and that seemed like an excellent solution to everything….

I think we are playing again
next month, so get your lasers ready image
