These largest and oldest trees on our planet are facing logging danger. Yes, it is true. I couldn't believe it until I got a letter from the Sierra Club in the mail! Apparently logging of these 3, 500-year old trees is recommended by the Forest Services for various reasons. This measure is wildly opposed by the National Park services, the Sierra Club and other environmental organizations.
